Félix Gastout is a visual artist and musician, his work intersects drawing, publishing, and sound experimentation. He holds a master degree in Typography from Erg, Brussels. His practice is primarily focused on drawing, specifically automatic drawing, ritualization, archiving, and methods of support displacement (large formats, multiples, false copies). This discipline is driven by endless variations stemming from self-imposed constraints within a relatively restricted framework (a format, a type of paper, a model of tool). Additionally, he has been teaching drawing at ESA LE 75 since 2023 and in elementary education since 2014.

This publication consists of enlarged drawings extracted from series 4 (a series initiated in 2014). The series number refers to the tool or combination of tools used (in this case: series 4: Caran d'Ache 825 ballpoint pen).

This Series includes Zines by Polly Apfelbaum, Lenka Clayton, Isabelle Cornaro, Félix Gastout, Andres Sandoval, Sean Weisgerber
