Geran Knol is a multidisciplinary artist from Antwerp, Belgium. His work consists of drawings, paintings, sound and sculptural work. Met Stille Trom (with a silent drum) is a collection of drawings used as a starting point for a series of paintings. They are loosely referring to the act of leaving and a sense of loneliness. The figures that characterize Geran’s work take on a more abstract shape, blending into their surroundings using a visual language that takes inspiration from Oskar Schlemmer’s Das Triadisches Ballett.
