For Nieves, Martinez has completed an exclusive group of drawings on hotel stationery from the infamous Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles, which truly celebrate his unique style of assembling reoccurring characters, objects, and motifs that loosely recreate everyday life into chaotic and exhilarating events. Martinez has just completed a solo exhibition of new paintings at Loyal Gallery in Stockholm, while his works have been featured at the Athens Biennial, Blum & Poe, Los Angeles, Deitch Projects, New York, and Peres Projects, Berlin among others.
